The North East coast is normally more sheltered, so better for sea paddle boarding or kayaking. If you prefer inland paddling then Newtown Creek is a beautiful place to explore &#8211; go at high tide and take a picnic- you can launch from the bridge just before Newtown Old Town Hall.
