It is a sandy beach with a promenade and car park located on the seafront for easy access. There are steps all the way along, otherwise there is a ramp right at the end of the beach that leads down to the sand. Great for children as it has a gentle entry into the sea with pools that appear at low tide. There are deck chairs and kayaks for hire. There is entertainment, restaurants and cafes along the seafront.
